Our thermally fused laminate drawer front features a 5-piece construction with 3" edge banded stiles & rails and 3/4" in thickness. Like the Shaker, the TFL Shaker Drawer Front details are very simple, with flat inside and outside edges. This line of doors is built using the TAFISA/Karisma color collection. The texture is wire-brushed, and the drawer fronts feature a cope-and-stick joint.
If you’re remodeling your kitchen or bathroom, we also have a matching shaker cabinet door. The 5-piece TFL drawer fronts will have the same stile and rail width as the shaker doors, and the grain on the center panel will run horizontally. The center panel grain on the laminate shaker drawer front can be changed to vertical upon request.
Please contact us for information on matching laminates available for finished ends.

What does TFL mean in cabinetry?
TFL stands for thermally infused laminate. This is a low-cost, durable material commonly used for custom-made cabinet doors and drawer fronts in kitchens or bathrooms.
Is TFL the same as MDF?
TFL is not the same as MDF. TFL is a durable finish, commonly applied to the surface of a core material, such as natural wood or medium-density fiberboard.
What is the difference between TFL and thermofoil?
The main differences between TFL and thermofoil are in the application process and the material. TFL is a melamine resin sheet that is thermally infused with a core material, such as natural wood or MDF. Thermofil is a vinyl material that is bonded to MDF or natural wood using a vacuum press. Both materials are durable and incredibly versatile.
