Guidelines for Custom Orders & Non-Returnable Items
All cabinet doors and drawer fronts are custom-made to your specific order sizes. Since our products are custom-crafted from natural wood, returns are not possible. Please review our guidelines below for additional information.
Damaged or Defective Products
We offer a one-year warranty for manufacturing defects. Cabinet Door Factor warrants that products will be reasonably defect-free in material and craftsmanship for a period of one year from the date of shipment. This warranty does not apply to:
- Surface defects caused by normal wear and tear
- Defects caused by repairs, misuse, or abusive operation
- Improper handling, assembling, finishing, or installation by the customer
- Natural characteristics found in wood
- Warpage caused by the environmental conditions of your region
Warranty claim must be made within twenty-four hours after receipt of the order and before hanging and finishing.
Nature of Natural Wood
Natural wood naturally expands and contracts in environments with high humidity or temperature fluctuations, typically in mountain and coastal regions of the world. The more moisture the wood picks up, the more it will warp, twist, and crack. In desert regions, wood is more likely to dry out, leading to cracking. Precautions must be taken when storing, handling, and finishing cabinet doors to avoid imperfections. Any damage to the natural wood caused by improper storing, handling, and finishing is not considered a defect.
Shipping Damage Claims
Our products are typically shipped via common carrier, UPS, or FedEx Freight. Depending on the size of your order, we may also deliver via LTL freight or pallet delivery. If your order arrives damaged, the damage must be brought to the driver's attention and documented on the delivery slip alongside a signature from the driver. Any damage to the outer packaging should be photographed and emailed to sales@cabinetdoorfactory.com within 24 hours to report discrepancies.
Order Cancellations
All cabinet doors and drawer fronts are custom-made and made-to-order; therefore, cancellations are subject to availability. All orders are typically moved to production within eight hours. If your order is canceled after it's been moved to production, a 15% or $100 ( whichever is less) order processing fee will apply.
Measurement Errors & Incorrect Orders
The customer is responsible for taking accurate measurements for their order. Any errors must be reported within two days. Corrections or discrepancies reported after the 2-day deadline from the delivery date will be charged a $15 administrative fee, or the cost of the correction, whichever is greater.
